Why sURInk?

1. Shrink URIs to share URIs easily via email or chat.

4. Allows crawling of the records.
5. The submitted URI (addresses) becomes the property of this "application". To be shared under the terms of the GNU Public License.
6. A generated sURInk is permanent. Surinks will not change or be deleted after a period of time.

8. Very low dependencies. No database.
9. No cookies. No usernames. No passwords.
10. Uses base67 encoding so surinks will almost always be very small.

Why not?

1. No tinydisk support. There might be throttling code that will disrupt attempts to store excessive amounts of data with this service.
2. Fraudsters may use the good name of this site to redirect to phishing sites.
